Pair of Fuchs needed 7" or 8" x16 or help with tyr

Post by brit911 »

Hello guys and gals, I have bought some bloody great 12" fuchs and cant get tyres anywhere for them, unless anyone on here knows of anyone???

So I thought I'd stick the 9" on the rear and get some 7's or 8's till the time comes that I manage to get some tyres!!

Anyone know where there are any??

cheers

Wouldnt surprise me in that size. Bloody great wheels except you dont give any info on:

what car you have
which axle you want to put what on (although I could guess
 )

for the standard 16ers you run the usual bridgestones, michelins exalto's, kumho etc and this is also the case for the 15 inch versions.

Best regards;

well, lets see, i think the 9's on the rear and 7's or 8's on the front!!!

The wheels are 16's and have slicks on them, i dont think bedfordshire police would be happy with me running around on them!!!!!!

My car is a widebody 3.2 carrera.

cheers

205/55 on the 7's

225/50 on the 8's

245/45 on the 9's

Sorry, perhaps I didn't explain myself very well, I'm after some tyres for the 12" wide 16" diameter fuchs.

I am only looking to buy some 7 or 8" fuchs as I can use my 9" on the rear in case I dont get any tyres for the biggies!!!!

I don't think you'll be able to get anything other than race tyres for those wheels...

   excellent post. However, you get into 1980-ties Lambo Countach or other supercars territory for those sizes.

If I remember correctly Pirelli does a batch for 12 wide 16 inch P zero's but they have to come directly from Italy, as no one (wants to) stock them.

Come to think of it, 12 inch is HUGE; the factory only provided 11 inches on fuchs RSR's IIRC?

The alternative is to have your soft compound /race slicks "grooved" similar to what the bikers do but perhaps less suited for the season that is looming upon us.

Best regards,
