Guys,
The bulb holders in my car are corroded. Anyone have experience of replacing them or buying new turn signal housings complete (expensive).
Best

Hope all is good with you..I know Chris F. at Fen Lane has developed a good and cost-effective rebuild for these..call him ...or fit plastic light units..!
Kind regards

Hi Dom,
Soldering direct to the bulbs has been known if you get stuck

Thanks Gary, sounds like you have had a similar problem.
The guys who got my car through the MOT cleaned the connections, and even jammed some copper wire between the bulb and the holder. The lights work, but isn't there a simple home remedy to fix the problem?
Thanks
Dom

I bought metal front indicators from Roger Bray for £60 each, they are excellent, just like the original, you just have to rewire them cos they are for the ameriican market.
