I have finally got around to registering, membership is in the post. Can anybody recommend a garage de-humidifier/ heater? Its getting to that time of the year so I thought i would splash out.
I was at the Classic Le Mans with you guys. Black car parked next to Phil. I have been languishing in Iraq ever since! I have video footage of the parade laps from the main stand which i can edit /burn if required.
My next question is who can do that thing with the fan! Saw an RS at CLM where the fan had been 'dipped' and it went a darker colour but looked cleaner. Appreciate any advice. Thanks.

I bought a dehumidifer from Dry it out when I had so much stuff in the garage I couldn't use my Carcoon, but it seems pretty good. To be honest though, you are better off with a Carcoon or something similar - space depending.

Here is one of many that I have had vapour blasted. I have also used powder coating but personally prefer the vapour finish.
This pics helps show the difference between a)cleaning by hand (boring)
b) fine grit/sand blasting c) vapour blasting.

Hello & welcome
I don't know the process for the fan, but I'd wager that you're talking about Mike's wonderful car, here's a thread with pictures of the engine bay, hopefully Mike will chip in and let you know.

Hope this helps a bit, try putting some pictures of your car up as well

My friend Steve! If anyone needs stuff done let me know and I will get prices I can also get parts re-plated (chrome and zinc (clear and yellow) if required. Chroming takes a while but the results are very good. I will have some nice new pics soon.

I will get pics of my car here soon. I will hopefully be going for the Vapour blast with Alan when I can. The pic of that RS is the one i saw when i was very jaded from the the vin rouge whilst next to the burger van for breakfast. Thanks for the steer, Rich
