Hi, yet another newbie here!

hi all, newbie from the orkney isles here. currently no porsche at the moment (nothing much to choose from here!) but am very keen to get my hands on a fourteen in the near future. hoping to learn about any possible pitfalls first and here first hand experiences from other owners.

gosh Oakney Islands now that is North...welcome.
think i might be a tad worried about the effect salt air would have on a 914...but, then i guess i worry too much about apperences

Salt can be a bit of a problem up here but plenty of washing, a good wax and a dry garage seem to keep it @ bay.

Hi, the roads are pretty much as good as mainland UK but without the speed cameras and traffic lights! Only got Zebra crossings and roundabouts in the last couple of years - still confuses some of the older residents!
