I have a car I am interested in buying. I was wondering if any forum members would be willing to check the car over with me as their experience would be able to spot potential problems long before I would. The car is near Newport.

I've been speaking to Racecraft via PM as the car he's interested in is one I very nearly bought myself. The car is advertised on www.classiccarsforsale.co.uk

The car is located in Newport South Wales

I saw in A friends Autotrader (midlands) a yellow 914 1.8 for sale 1973 for £6900 -copy reads that it is very original but says nothing about condition. The car is over in Wales/Telford way but not being a local this is only a guess. The number is 01824 703239
