stinging eyes

Reports from fellow DDK'ers have gradually been getting more vocal ref their eyes stinging when following me

Anyway, I know the car has been chucking out a bit more unburnt fuel than it used too.

Assuming the settings on MFI pump haven't changed, what could cause this over fuelling?

Could low back pressure in teh exhaust system have an effect on the burn efficiency?

BTW, fuel economy doesn't seem to have changed ( not that I measure it too closely) & performance hasn't changed either ( its still quick)

James, I get that all the time from DDK'ers following me.
Sorry, but the cars running lovely.
Just ignore 'em. Don't touch any settings.
It's a 2.4S. They all do that sir.

I think you should both get your cars checked over - it can't be good for them having all that unburnt fuel washing your cylinder bores of oil...

And as for those following behind .

Ian, first you're disrespecting my car (because I'm a southerner).
Now you're picking on James too (and he's one of your kind).
I say, delete this thread before he gets abusive. :)

Just got the car fully serviced and it is running superb 8)

Co2 emmissions were fine ( 5%ish from memory) but the Hydrocarbons were very high & the idle is high & a bit erratic .

Any ideas ?
