Got up early this morning to go and watch the McRae family taking part in the Colin McRae Rally Stages in Perth, all of them (Colin, Alistair and dad Jim in MKII Escorts) but didn't get there! Was passing under the Castlecarry Arches on the A80 at over a ton, lifted and nothing happened BOTH my throttle return spring had failed. Now whether one had failed for awhile and I didn't notice we will never know.

I was able to make repairs on both spring and get home as I didn't fancy risking driving hard with temporary repairs.

So I'm either looking for the springs or for someone to tell me where I can get them.
