Hi
Anybody stripped the deflectors, i presume these should be springloaded. Anybody sucessfully put them back together or tried a different 'spring' mech?.

I think the 'kink' in the spring i supposed to fit inside the deflector?

Any ideas,
Many thanks
Nick

Hi Nick,
I have stripped and rebuilt them before. I used the original metal long wire/spring. I am just about to get a set re-polished and re-anodised so I will be able to get some pics when they come back and I put them back together.
I have a bad pic of the rear part of one deflector; you can see how the wire is held in. HTH

Hi Nick,
I use several places to this kind of work done for me. I am doing a lot of testing for different processes on different things, such as getting window frames done. These are a little more difficult due to the size and the steel pins. It's not a one stop shop or even a process that most of these companies openly offer. There are companies that offer polishing and anodising services, but that very different to a company that knows how to do the process on Porsche bits. The best thing is, if you want some done, wait a little while until I get my current set back and then if they are ok send them to me.
Cheers
Alan
