okey docky...picking up the car on saturday and am eager to use it so......
whats happening on the 914 scene ? come on guys don't be shy i promise to behave myself
any events or meets coming up i should know about ?

Helen - Husborne Crawley on Saturday about 20mins from where you'll be picking the car up from. See this thread for things to do afterwards although no take up so far!!!

i'll be there..not sure about the drive afterward though as i might have to bring a trailer to pick up a 911..

It
was in GB, though I don't think it makes a habit of it. The pic was probably taken a couple of years ago when it was over here for the Festival of Speed.

This is definitely a Type 60K10 from 1939 ("Berlin-Rom-Porsche" - only 3 cars were made, only one survived) - and due to the license plate it has to be the car once belonged to the famous race driver Otto Mathé from Innsbruck, TIROL. This car disappeared under very suspicious circumstances after Otto Mathé passed away in November 1995.
Ferry Porsche himself tried to buy this car from Otto Mathé, but he didn't get it. Otto Mathé never sold it ...
