OIL TEMP GAUGE

as the title oil temp gauge for a 68 912, any one have one lying about? I get no reading at all on mine, I have changed the sender (dont ask the price) so it seems that the gauge may be at fault. Is there any way of checking the gauge?

green dial ???
I have one for £20 and as far as I remember it works fine

No, white dial.
but the price is good. and we do have husbands crawly comming up soon, so if no luck can always try there.

shame it's just looking smart on my book shelf and should be in a car... £20 + postage if any one else wants it....
