DDK - Die Deutschen Klassiker

I was looking for someone to waxoyl a 911 and was hoping to find someone who could do the box sections under pressure.
I found these two companies - both within reach of London.
Before'n'After (Newbury)
Rustmaster (Hertfordshire near Luton)
(both '.co.uk' - but I added no links as I thought that might be considered to be advertising)
Has anyone used either of them or have a better idea as to how to rust proof an ex California Targa.
Of course without taking it to bits I will not know if is already rusty but I would like to think that I have tried my best to prevent the rust wipe-out.

Not keen on black Waxoyl.

Ideally the earlier cars look better with a suitable clean and a light, clear treatment

Before 'n After seem pretty good but very expensive. Their Kleentech system is over £1,500!

An early 911 is easy to waxoyle without dismantling, you just need to get the under body areas nice and clean first and make sure the whole car is dry before applying the waxoyle. As FLY 7 suggests, use clear not black.

I was not very inspired by black stuff either so it is good to know that it can be clear as well.
Nick - Having learnt from your web site about California cars rusting from the inside out, I was rather anxious to get the waxoyl (or whatever) to the inside where the rust might be lurking. Hence my search for someone who might know how to do this.
I would like to get it done at least the first time by someone who has some experience of doing it properly rather than doing a bad job myself and regretting it later.

Try Luke at Terrys Beetle Services in Hanwell London. I know that Luke has wax oyled a few in his time and is an orig RS owner himself.

He did mine in black waxoyl a few weeks ago - looks great IMO - weatherproofed now too, so I can relax a bit. Came to just under £300 all in.
