Probably been asked before, but anyone know how many 72/73 2.4S were imported to UK?

Thanks for any info

There is plenty of discussion about the number of RHD 2.4Ss delivered and still existing. Its believed there were around 120 -130 Coupes and maybe 30 - 40 Targas (73 MY only) deilvered. HMY7K is compiling a list of the Coupes know to still exist. We have about 40 so far.

Graeme

I assume you are the same Graeme that replied to my post on the Early911 Register. Your car is on the list.

As Nick says the estimate is about 120 and we know of 42 which are still in existence. No doubt there are more but I doubt if there are that many.

Thanks for the info...Nigel well spotted yes that me on the list :)
I thought there must be a definitive number imported to the UK for those years and couldn't find the discussions on the board, so I thought that I might as well as the dumb question again.

I did a search as well, and found nothing . Nigel and I, along with a few others, have had this discussion privately. I have a 67S with a letter from Porsche GB (dated 1992) stating the exact delivery spec and the number of cars delivered that year in the UK, so Porsche GB definitely have the info, its just that they don't give it out any more.

New to this board... but I know of at least 2 that now reside in Sydney, Australia....

Where should I send the numbers?
