I think it's the same one as was at Silverstone last weekend - when the couple who are in it showed up, I got a small surprise - they clearly have been Porsche fans for many many years

yep, it was at Silverstone:
I think it was only there on the Saturday? I didn't see it. Who owns it? Did they travel from Deutschland, or is it an import?

Hey Derek, just thought it was probably you I saw in your white 914 just outside Nantwich Thursday morning (think it was Thursday!) last week about 7:15am?
Looking good!

If it wasn't you then your car has a double
I was in the stealth Passat so you wouldn't have noticed me

powered by a 3.2 Carrera motor - looked a pretty nice car when I had a look at it at S'stone

Hi Derek,
That green car looks awesome. (great quality photos for a camera phone)
Why don't you ditch the 911, and stick the 993 engine in your 914!
just a thought.....
kind regards
Robster

I've spent the weekend thinking just that
What to do for a gearbox just keeps me up all night

oh yes - that is sweeeeeeet - like what they did with the engine cover - split down the middle with mesh across the whole lid rather than just the back section - a must for extra heat release i guess

full mesh grille a la 914-6GT / 916
not a difficult job - can't be as I did mine!
