Electric Window Regulator Adjustment

My window is not 'square' to the frame and sticks.
'Adjust the regulator' I am told.
How do I do this?
72 T with SC 'upgrades' - not sure which type it is.
Any help appreciated.
Dave
p.s. It did get interesting when I removed the interior door locks - window then stuck - only way out was through the sunroof. Apologies to the credibility of classic 911 owners!

Actually id be very interested to here an answer to.
I replaced the lifter on my elecy windows on my 85 911, the glass jumped at the top/stuck etc. In the end the glass pulled out of the lifter rubber.
I took the panel off last night to sort it properly. The Haynes just says to adjust....!
What I did, which may be correct (its almost perfect now - but could be better), is the slot the lifter part (white plastic) into the runner channel, then with a little fairy liquid push the glass and rubber into the lifter. I then loosened the 6 or 7 allen headed bolts which held the whole lifting mech in place - you can then tilt the glass a bit to the best position - then retighten a few of these and test the lift.
It worked better for me. But any proper advice of an expert is appreciated!

Thanks for this. I will have a go when I am ready for a bit of dismantling.
In the meantime I found an old thread recommending WD40 in the side runners. Obvious really but it made a big difference - I have progressed from a 'stick' to a 'stutter'!
Cheers
Dave
