Sorry Guys, this was a very abstract conversation Gary and I had with Brenden and Mike on the tunnel on the way home from CLM. I just had to put the image in the form of a cartoon

You had to be there, we did laugh

wicked!

what started off as a laugh has turned serious. I need to know if anyone has taken off their RS rear wings to make a narrow bodied car without having totally new wings fitted. Can it be done and still salvage the arches for re-sale. Has anyone got any use for some 8 inch wheels---preferrably a swop for some 6 inch. Do you think I should go for the repaint to chartreuse at the same time or try to blow in the black carefully. Obviously this will be a major winter project. I have decided to keep the RS spec engine just need to get the bodywork to mint T spec.
Regards
Mike

Just remember to upgrade the engine to a non counterweighted crank / cast barrels and a grotty old pair of zeniths. While you're at it loose the anti roll bars, dump the recaros in favour of those old plasticy things and you'll be away. Remember t spec owes a lot to the Beetle!!! As an owner of 2 911 Ts I'm alllowed to take the Mick!!

I decided to keep the engine as is because of Gary's fiery Zenith problems but I take your point about the recaros (I think James is looking for a set). I will also need a plain engine lid and front spoiler. Anyone? Prefer swops for the RS replica stuff rather than outright purchase.

Mike

Go the whole hog, why don't you back date to four cylinder 912 spec? :)

Nice

Ah, but did they ever do a T in chartreuse? I think blowing in the black with a rattle can is your only option Mike.

Shame you are keeping your engine, I've a slightly cripsy Mint T engine just waiting for a new home :)
