Not too much evidence of the 'gendarmerie' on the trip.
Despite earlier concerns we travelled quite quickly in places (trying to keep up with Charlotte).
I thought the roads were marvellous. Nice and smooth, fast flowing.
Phil's route maps and itinerary were excellent. Thanks Phil.
It was great travelling in convoy and seeing a dozen 911's ahead of you and then glancing in your mirror and seeing another dozen!
I think I need to go back and get out on the more rural routes. There's some nice touring to be done in France.

Coming out of Rouen I got a "beep beep" from the TomTom warning me of a camera - then saw the 'flash' - don't think I was too far over
Then going into Calais 'les flicks' were sitting in a cutting waiting for people - mercifully the other way
Other than that managed to make it from services at Le Mans around 4:30 to Eurotunnel at around 8:20pm - average of around 85mph - with some fun along the way
Who else is finding it hard to concentrate at work today

wish I was still on the campsite with a beer - it's just coming up to time for cheese, bread and wine

My first day back in work was spent listening to people talking about contracting within the NHS - must confess thoughts of CLM did enter into my head more than once.....

I got home last night and the first thing I decided was that I wasn't going to work today. Don't feel much like going tomorrow either.

A looooong boring day reviewing contracts - had to get them to a colleague about 20 miles away - seemed a perfect night to take the RS out and drive it like I did in France

She's running even better after the 600 miles (stopping only for the tunnel and fuel) on Sunday

my 's' is running well, just a bit noisier than before due to an over zealous backfire damaging the baffles when coming off the throttle at over 200kph
