Don't forget Sunday 6th August at the Goodwood Breakfast Club is themed 'German Sports Cars'.
This is the same day as the 911World Porsche Picnic (at Wellington Park, near Reading) so it could be a very full day.
Stick it in your diary.

If anyone is interested but on the saturday the day before the breakfast club is a sprint day of which about 25 porsches are taking part which is part of the hill climb guys. Several of my friends will be there in there 911's and also a couple of 14's. It takes place all day and most are staying over the friday and saturday nights and may be going to the breakfast club.

I don't know about the sprint, but in the past we've got to the Breakfast Club for 8.30, although TBH the way it's going, it wouldn't hurt to get there even earlier.

I think that I'll give the TR a shakedown run there: I'll go direct though, as I don't think my 43 yr old Brit. will keep up with the notorious Mr Moss   .

OK, here's a plan! 7am Wisley, slightly earlier start, pulling away 7.15am.
To Petworth on the 'blast' route, including back roads, already tested by Alam, Will  Petworth meet up with others to LEAVE at 8am for Goodwood.

Then breakfast fry up at the GERMAN theme day Goodwood, check out the BMW's and every Porsche known to man, then back in the cars for another 'blast' to the 911 & Porsche World Picnic at Wellington Country Park south of Reading for lunch!

According to Route Planner its just over the hour but cross country, should be some interesting roads, but have not done a recce so don't blame me!

Picnic plan: Lets turn up with some stuff, Viv (the chef) perhaps might pick up the hardware, ie the disposable barbies, tools etc.

I will bring the meat, good sauages, burgers, brochette's maybe even the odd prawn.

Volunteers for:

Bread, rolls, bagette's, butter, etc
Salad stuff, dressings, oils, to be tossed, as they say!
Veggie option
Dessert's, anybody do a couple of Lemon drizzle's or summer fruits
ketchup, mustards, mayonaise
Paper plates, plastic knieves, forks, spoons, disposable glasses, napkins
Gazebo, (wet weather option)
Anything else anyone can think of?

As for drink, best if each brings his own, as we are driving  together with wicker basket and tartan rug!

Watch this space for numbers so as to gauge how much to bring, but first off I'm in!
