Wish I had that space Gary!! Here is mine - car is freshly Barry'd from the front, back to the doors. Luckily, one of the three bonnets that I had collected met his approval. I decided on new OEM wings as one of mine was toast behind the hockey stick shaped support and my attempts to 'fix' it with a hammer and dolly only made it worse

Leading next on both sides of the scuttle panel (around the windscreen) to close the gaps to the new wings... then new kidney bowls and new rear quarter sections in the area removed to get to the bowls... fun, fun!

Looks good Dean, I do forget sometimes that my garage is a decent size. Spent years in a single fighting and you adapt, but everything is so much harder.

Car is all packed ready to roll for the long tow south tomorrow. Fun getting it in as this trailer may have a roof but it doesn’t have a winch!

I’ll be buying a winch before I try to load it for the return.

6.5 hours drive later....

Gently does it, up she goes:

And she’s on (and screen jigs in)

Verdict is it’s pretty much straight, needs a gentle tug across the back (2mm) other than that it bolted straight on.

Barry is happy with it, no horrors found, not bent as a banana!

A great relief

Beer in hand now at the hotel and a long drive back tomorrow ready to tidy the garage!

It’s weird but doing another one would be so simple, you’d jump straight to the right way to do it rather than cocking about with ‘easier’ options.

You can see why after 47 911s Barry has the hang of it...

Excellent news Gary.

I get all my trailer bits from Trailertek, and have always found them really reliable. Good to see you got th3 hang of the trailer reversing bit!
