Well not today but the last couple of weeks
Looked in the wheel arch and noticed that there was NO underseal or coating on the metal at all and it was rusty
So thinking the worst jacked it up and a week later have a nice shiny inner wheel arch

Rusty but very solid only surface
Scraped and got a kg of muck and dust

all painted
Rooted around the front and for some reason looked behind the numberplate. And out popped a hood badge!!
is it the original one? I remember the front not having a badge when I bought it.
This is what's on the car
and one last thing to make it go faster
some stickers!!

Drove to and from work

Didn't hit red line or oversteer. Not trying hard enough!

Opened a big brown box from a very helpful DDK'er and inside was a rebuilt known-to-be-good 3.2 ecu to trial to see if mine is causing the rough running.
DDK at it's best.
Left the sick 911 in the garage and going to SPA in my Skoda instead.
Wife happy.

Sad day
Gone to a good home? Anyone we know?

A good home I think but nobody I know. I think the car will be returned to its original dolphin grey.
Hopefully it'll turn up again one day, looking like it did in Parker and Parker's showroom, 46 years ago.
It is a sad day but if I don't think about it, I'm fine.
Mike.

Quick! You've left the DDK & Early S badges on the grill!
Mike, I changed my signature a while back as I knew you had this day coming...
Fear not. Chin up ol' boy. It'll be fine - promise!

Not having much luck with my car though...... New clutch in and the vibration has gone

..... Roll pin on the pedal assembly holding clutch pedal to the operating shaft sheared last night ! Bugger
Pedal assembly now out of the car and looks like I'm going to have to drill out the remains of the pin

Hayley's 356 is no longer Hayley's 356..... it's become a lot more..... communal.
