Time for some improvements...cos they are never really finished :)

I needed to have look at the wiring, there's been a few occasions when the car has refused to start, after upgrading starter motors and batteries the next part to look at was the wiring. More so, making sure that the earths where earthing.

This looks worse than it was, but the more I started to unwrap the loom the more I could see where things could be more "efficient". Also decided to remove the Heated windscreen circuit and generally try and simplify things bit more.....

Looks a mess but wasn't that bad :)

New Fuse holder made up...

...but decided it would be way cooler to try and replicate the the amber tinware, so a trip to the local craft shop and the liberation of a baking tray....

Waste not want not....

With that, time to put it all back together and make sure that point A to B is as simple as possible.....

Re-wrap and sleeve

and remarkably it all still works, only better ! (once I realized that the fuel pump and starter solenoid wires were the wrong way around  )

A few more Mods

Never been able to see clearly out of the rear view mirror...seat position, roll bar etc etc. Even attaching the mirror to the windscreen didn't really work......so the most sensible option is obviously attaching it to the dashboard :) . Found a pre-dilled trim hole, not bad, but about abit clunky...

Don't tell Mick Cliff, but we have finally found a home for "that" mirror some 18 years later !! :)

A slight shortening of the stem, abit of JB weld, black paint and found another pre-dilled trim hole...

Whilst reading about / lusting over 964 RS N-GT's, it was mentioned that the wooden floor boards / "mats" help prevent foot slippage when its bit damp outside.....also flatting the floor pan lumps and bumps, plus they look cool!
