Finally got the last drop of rain out of the Lola after a VERY wet Loton Park hillclimb as Jonathan will attest.

Tricky on slicks, but got one fast (ish) run done at the end of Sunday.

Last event at Prescott in a few weekend's time then what to do this winter. (?)

I have a very simple plan.
Hopefully to go faster, or rather as fast as I used to be, that would be a result.

Fitted a Rinashi phone holder - easiest mod I've ever done and easily reversible too.

Can't believe I haven't got one before and just in time for Spa 6 hours in 3 weeks...

No it's just a (strong and adjustable) MagSafe phone holder - I have a cigarette socket USB-C charging adapter and a short Lightning cable which will charge the phone for me

Ah ok - similar to my set up thanks. I saw one last week that replaced the cigarette lighter with a holder and wireless charger - good but not what you would call cheap

Project for yesterday was to install a ramp…

It’s still continuing today and will continue tomorrow

SO heavy so unboxing and positioning it all is just really hard graft. Engine crane essential.

Went to a local tractor place for some oil thinking I’d get it moving, even not bolted down, then realised its electrical connection is 16 amp… so off to CEF tomorrow for a commando socket and isolator. Luckily the control box is under my household fuse panel so a short run from one of the bigger RCDs will sort that.

Sure it will be awesome once it’s in

Seems Rinashi do a wireless charging upgrade for existing phone holder installations:

for the same price as the phone holder but still C$60 shipping from Canada, albeit very quick (received mine in 3 days).
