Thanks Clive. I don’t think me and the precision of regularity really go together, but I’d like the drive, or assume I would. See you at the members meeting, Hopefully it’ll
be a pleasant change not to be shivering this year.

Apart from the naff Impact bumper front wing not a picture of the damaged corner despite the car being on a ramp; wonder how deep the damage really is though the steering wheel is pictured straight, so maybe minimal.
If just the wing and bonnet then it would have been a simple repair, about $2000, and the value would have been much higher, strange it was not done over there or here before sale?
Could be a very nice car with correct UK lights.

Take the ad with a pinch of salt. That is not an original dash so more has been replaced that a minor fender bender repair.
The pictures are all taken inside so it’s hard to be sure without a daylight image but I’m half convinced that car is Dalmation blue. I’d like to see the paint tag. Dalmation blue was more commonly paired with a tan interior than Oxford blue. I’d be quizzing the sellers hard before committing to buy even if the exchange rate was 2;1.

Another good reason why ORIGINALITY matters. You can flush out the dodgy cars and dodgy stories.

At a guess, $60K would be £60k all done and in a UK garage.
Inner wing has a lot of creases, so might well have pulled on the top strut mounting, so some 'Barry' action needed maybe.
Even so, not a bad price when done?

I think that’s really quite expensive. A friend of mine bought a lovely Sepia 911T from Ashgoods which turned out to be very solid and original for around the same money. No hassle with importing etc, and usable straight away or as the basis of a project.

I wouldn’t touch the blue car with a bargepole!
