Thanks for the kind comments. Today was the day that I first drove the car - only a couple of times around the yard. Seems strange after nearly 20 years of having it in various garages/barns/lock ups.
Need to get those rear over riders on.
We still have a long snagging list though!

Good news today from Jez at GCS - Passed the MOT.
Now I have to change over the tax class to historic. The car was first registered in the UK in 1982 and was last on the road in 1989. It does state on the V5 'Declared manufactured in 1970'. The question is - do you think I'll still need to get some form of proof of date of manufacture for DVLA?

I would think that if it already states 'Declared manufactured in 1970' on the V5 that would be sufficient - should be a formailty ...
