Hi Steve - Yeah, the colour combo really suits it - I'd like to be driving to CLM 2010 in it, so needs to be done by July - plenty more photos to come

Hi Peter - I'm afraid all I've been doing is hammering my flexible friend - plenty of stuff arriving in January

and Mr Mycar - yep, thats me - freezin my ass off In fact, Tracey is that keen for me to start she has told me to use the utility room as a workshop until it warms up a bit, so there's no excuse not to be working on it

Wow that has been a repair of epic proportions! The shock of discovering the extent of the rot and then finally the wheelbase/accident damage problem would have made most people go weakn at the knees - me included.
Well done - you have transformed a horror story into a thing of beauty. I'd like to see it sometime.

Many early car owners only really had the option of PCGB, prior to DDK, if they wanted to join a club to get advice on owning their cars. Tracey has owned her car since 2002 and concours is part of what they do so she made one in so to speak.
Personally I prefer to drive cars (and if you saw my poor old 911 you'd believe me ) rather than clean and show them, but at the end of the day its her car and I know she will want to proudly show it off so I won't stop her - I might just not be sat near it if she does

Epic it was, I think even Tracey had doubts at one stage - the rot just seemed to go on and on and we could never have guessed the extent of the damage in the longitudinals / accident damage.
You'll be seeing it soon right enough, it would be great to get the two 58As together on a Northern meet later in the year, as I would also love to see your car finished too

Well I’ve been busy the last few weekends, despite the weather, starting to put bits back into the car. Realised that I haven’t actually taken any photos showing the work underneath the car now that the stone chip work is complete, which although not often seen I still think is worthy of a photo or two as it does look good under there (need to clean the lens on my camera too )
