Any word yet James of confirmation from ACO? I know of one other person who has now received confirmation that they have been allocated tickets for MB.

Coincidently I emailed them yesterday ( read from the bottom up):
Dear Sir,
You won’t have some news before a few months.
Yours faithfully.

Hi
Do you know when you will require the money for the camping tickets @ Maison Blanche . Jan ? Feb?
I ask as I need to collect it from my club members before sending it to you .
Best Regards
James Charnley

Dear Sir,
We haven’t started to record the booking but you can consider that’s Ok as you book in the firsts.

Hi
Thanks for the reply.
Because I have booked 37 passes under my name I just want to make sure I have the camping passes for Maison Blanche booked.
Kind regards
James Charnley
Did these people get confirmation from ACO or from a ticket supplier?
In 2004 & 2006 the French left things late. I have a copy of an email from 1st week of July'06, asking ACO when teh tickets might turn up

Lets hope the ACO office are as good as their word

Yikes, so it might be 'clenched bum' ticket timing then: oh well, I'm sure it'll all work out.
Again, thanks very much James for all you've done on this: be sure to let us know what costs you've incurred as a result of this, so we can add them onto the ticket price

Don't want to be a misery, but has anybody else seen this from PH?

What does anyone think?

been following that thread for a while now . Construction / earthworks always look bad at this time of teh year. It wasn't as if MB was a lush grass area anyway.
I'm keeping positive as its always been very dry by July & I'm sure it'll be fine. I'm confident for teh Classic ACO will have it sorted.
Maison Blanche is a superb location for CLM, trackside & only 5 mins from the start finsh etc + great access to Arnage. One of the best places to camp @ LeMans.
I have considered if it is worth relocating all of us to Karting Nord, but was keeping the options open at the moment

Forgot you were running the show James

, I'll have to make my mind up on this soon, as a summer weekend tribe-free is a rare and hard-won thing.
Am I right in thinking that the DDK MB allocation is booked-up? Never been to Le Mans so am not sure how far other camping areas are from MB?
Steve.

Don't worry, I'm not 'running the show' ..... just brought things together early to make sure we could all camp together
MB is full but Karting Nord isn't yet ( according to ACO website). Karting Nord is just over the otherside of the track from MB.

Just checked the site and it says that Karting Nord is sold out too!
Looks like I'm crying in my beer over this year!

I have booked up / reserved the Kart Nord ticket as no space at Maison Blanche.
However is there anything I should be doing to make sure that Bootsy knows I want access tickets from him when they become available in March.
I have not seen a list of interested parties anywhere.
Can you let us know what the procedure is for the access tickets please ?
Cheers
Jeremy

Looks like I maight not be MB... damn, I the booking last year. Maybe I am destined to be in Karting Nord forever more.
Least the shower block and toilets are cleaner that MB.
I'm gonna still try and chase it up.

Just remember that in 2006 we didn't hear anything until a lot nearer teh time.
From what I can gather those going to the 'proper' LeMans 24Hr have not heard anything yet ... Once the 24Hr is sorted then I think we will hear about the classic
