looking good Alan.. well done on the news of the wedding.. I think my account lives inthe same road as you.. he said a new couple have moved in and he saw a silver 73 911T a few doors up..small world

anyway getting the wife to sort all the wedding plans out is a safe way to a happy marridge.. I know I am just going though the same thing and as long as I turn up then all's well.. I have done one thing towards it so far.. I booked my S1 Bently for me and my best man.. oh and lots of cake tasteing..just to be sure I like cake..

and seen the guy who is doing the wedding in Oz..

Hi,

I have just trailered the targa home from it's rolling road engine tune. The results show the car at 172 bhp

which is great. I have driven a few 2.4's but this drives fantastically. There are still a few more things to do but I hope to have some “project completion” pictures over the next 3 or 4 days.

Hi,

The car is now finished

There are still a few final minor things to do after a few final parts arrive. The owner picks it up tomorrow, so I hope he is happy. The car drives fantastically, and has one the best 2.4E motors I have driven, it pulls like a train.

So this thread draws to an end. If anyone is still there, thanks for looking and for anyone that has posted thanks again. I will be starting a new thread on the other project soon

Hi,

I did lower the targa to the spec the owner wanted. How it looks in the picture is also not exactly correct as the front is too low down, as the correct front tires are not yet fitted. Those in the pictures are 180/60 whilst 195/65 are being fitted next week.

Andy, the "swamp car" is due for full restoration soon

but first I have a few others jobs to complete and also my 70S will be ready for it's refit soon.
