If that's the 1970/1971 clutch there's an apparently improved trunnion bolt available from the US which I deemed worth fitting to mine.

Received my clutch repair kit!
Those look like fairly standard parts for a 72/73 car that ought to be available from your local Porsche Centre or Indie, or the likes of Roger Bray.

Thank you Matt.
Collecting the smaller bits esp the M7 nut etc is the tedious part, hope someone would/has simply put a pack together and simple to have in the boot.
I'm getting lazy Jonathan!

Tell me how many M7 nuts you need and I’ll bring them up to Shelsley. We have a great shop - Western Bolt, that carries all sorts of oddball fittings!

James has bought a pack of 40 M7 nuts off Amazon so plenty to spare if anyone needs some!

Fitted cork gaskets between the metal brackets. In hope of reducing the heat to the CDI and RPM adapter on long drives. This is because at the end of long drives the rpm counter started to jump around.
A very fiddly job

Last M7 nuts I used were on my 60's Lambrettas. Things have lot of them!

4 are recommended to prevent loosening (2 at each end) I’m told

I had a great day today with our Porsche Junior. Not many people can honestly say that they have driven their Porsche flat out to a particular venue and back, but I did!

I went through 3 speed traps, which all recorded 11mph

The 7 mile journey to the fete took 45 mins, instead of 10 mins in the car!
It was a new event, so there weren't many vehicles, 3 tractors and a few cars. A couple of my friends had brought along a Boxster Spyder, and another had brought a beautiful Historic Rally RS1800 Escort.
The Junior didn't miss a beat all the way there and back, although it was quite hot at the end of each journey, so I left it on fast tickover for 10 mins at the end of each to cool down.
Definitely a different fun day!

Washed and hoovered the car (properly for once!)
Lovely evening for it

I still haven't cleaned mine since Le Mans. Which I feel mildly guilty about.
