Are they just wood planks screwed together? If so a nice solution

Yes Neil - they are 4 x 2 screwed together. You will have seen in the engine build thread that even more so than a 914, to remove the engine on a Boxster you need to get the body really, really high. Having the front end high, stable and in way the body can pivot around the front axle line is the safest way to do it without a 4 poster

Pulled the S out this morning to go for a posh wash, doh, looks like I need new batteries. Been in trickle charge all winter and almost as flat as a pancake

Have you got one of those chargers which has a 'repair pulse' setting? Often does the trick with my batteries if they've had little use for some time

Nothing more dissatisfying than the slow walk back into the house when this happens. Treat yourself to something you don’t need…. Works for me Image

Sold something I was never going to use again at the weekend there, so yesterday played 'Design911 stock levels Bingo!' and actually won.

Will hopefully get it cut later this afternoon.

EDIT - Success!

My old shooting jacket. My Anschutz rifle went years ago, when it was obvious we weren't coming back any time soon. Been doing a fair amount of life laundry these past few weeks.

Made 50€ the week before, putting my old engine mounts up on one of the free platforms here as it seemed a shame to skip them. Still can't quite believe someone bought them, tbh! That'll pay for my Techno Classica tickets if I can be bothered with it this year.
