Quick question. Are lens deflectors still a thing in France?
Been trying to work out if my lenses are R or L anyway
Car is lhd this is NS light. Arrow points to kerb.
Trying to get through my pre teip list and avoid crap stickers if ok. Cheers all.

Non of us lot bother as it’s not as if 911 headlights are bright
( saying that, my 964 has lhd headlights and has beam deflectors on permanently for uk … I never change anything for Europe driving )

According to this picture/sale they are RHD lenses
https://911bestinclass.com/collections/ ... hd-h4-lens
Believe LHD has the refractor triangular bit on the right as well, and yours is on the left, above the part number.

Been ut in the 911 yet again this evening.
Went to the Porsche bias evening at Prescott hillclimb for a nice informal evening with the PCGB lot and quite a few other cars too.
Pulled pork and chips and things and a drop of dry cider.
Just maybe the wife enjoyed it too(!).
So much traffic getting there, just stupid.
Away this Sunday to the International Inter Club meeting at Malvern, more miles.
We were the only pre impact 911 there of course.

Changed the 32 year old battery earth strap, as apparently that's a primary source of battery drain and shitty hot starting, problems I've had with this thing for nearly eleven years now.
Popped the multimeter over the eyelets and there's barely any resistance. But there is some. 2 ohms or so. We'll see how it goes, I guess. Picked up a fresh oil filter when I was getting the earth strap as well, as I should really change the oil this year. Sticking with Mobil 1, as five litres of the Porsche Classic stuff is 86€. The tin's cool and all, but not 30€ more than Mobil 1 cool. Especially not twice over.

I've still got ten litres of Costco's finest Mobil 1 here, but I'll give that a go next. Mobil 1 was handy because it was recommended for literally all of our cars so it saved me having to think too much, or have loads of odd dregs kicking about from the things that have a seven or eight litre oil capacity. With a bit of a reshuffle here I've got all the 'family' cars on LiquiMoly, which has been brilliant in the GTI and Macan, to be fair.
