First race weekend of the year in this.....

All very close after many changes by all competitors over the winter. 2nd place on Sat by 0.3s (video later), 1st on Sunday by just 0.14s :shock:

Interesting video Wayne.
5 speed box? 2nd to 3rd seems a wider than I expected.
Nice track, never done a sprint other than Cuborough.

Often thought of using the Boxster I have after the Lola is gone.

Yes Graham - non S, so standard 5 speed box, save for a GAAZ LSD.

It doesn't feel long TBH, but not being a short shift helps reduce the gear changes on some of the hills. That said, the gearshift on a 986 is fantastic, and have never missed a gear in 4 years competing. The 5 speeder is lighter too....

I will try and post more as we go through the season to give some insights into the different venues and the split discipline. Anglesey is wide, and all about hitting your lines, very different to a hillclimb...
