I beleive the picture of GVB 911L is of Vic Elford at Lydden Hill doing the first ever televised rallycross in 66/67. The car came virtually straight out of the showroom (it was actually AFN's demonstrator) and won, IIRC

Yes, that's Vic. Not my photo but as a young boy I lived in Folkestone in the late sixties, I remember going to Lydden as a lad.
