Great pictures Mike - what a wonderful return to its roots for you & the car.

Super pictures and a great story. You need a Cayenne for those roads though!

We are back in France in Chamonix for an overnight halt before a long day getting to the Tunnel. The trip has been amazing and we have met some wonderful people along the way and I've taken lots of pictures which I will at some stage get to post up.

Sorry for the lack of updates but this is down to little Internet connection and a busy schedule. Only a 1000 miles to go!

Penultimate leg of the homeward journey, Reims to Calais... Would you let this man drive your car?

Just arrived safely back in Blighty, there is just so much to share from this most awesome of trips, to do it justice I will hold back on posting a report and photos until we are all home and have time to get it all down.

For now, this one sums how we are feeling at this moment, on the home stretch: quite literally on top of the world...

Home and just had a text from Mike to say he is back as well. Amazing trip of a lifetime and I've taken over 1000 photos. God knows when I will get to upload and sort them as tomorrow I need to prep my bike for a ride on Saturday/Sunday then I'm off to Edinburgh. Thanks to James for organising everything and Mike for being a great pilot and of course the RS never missed a beat.

Over 4k road kilometers of pure fun for me.

More to come from the photographers in the party I'm sure. Won't be able to top that one from the SS, Nick, superb image!

We had a blast, met some new Sicilian petrol head friends, and saw some wonderful scenery and could almost smell the history of the Targa Florio as we flew across (some) of the Manonie 'circuit'.

I said I wanted to go 'just once' but a new special friend invited us back again with the RS next year. It's going to be very difficult not to go. What a wonderful place.

Regards
Mike
