The 'Maverick' Classic Porsche Forum and Classic Porsche Club for Porsche 356, Aircooled Porsche 911, Porsche 912, Porsche 914 & Porsche Replicas. 'We join for the cars but stay for the people'
It appears there's a few of us looking and a fair number of owners already... I know I'm hooked. So, can we expect an fuorilegge 'ICI'* thread nudging into general chat very shortly?
Nice. At the Scottish Italian Car show recently I chatted to an older man and woman who had both a Giulia and a GT Junior with them at the show, their son had brought along the GT, the father had owned both cars for over 30 years. The old gent probably in his early 80's preferred the upright driving position of the Giulia, absolute class. They looked great leaving the show waiving to those watching them go.
Went to the Alfa day at Gawsworth Hall in Cheshire earlier. Saw some fantastic cars, probably over 15 Juniors, the only car I didn't see but expected to, was a Montreal. As much a I love the new 4C and 8C, the old ones were more interesting.
[quote="Tp81"]Here are some pictures of the two red cars owned by the same family, I regret not taking a picture of them driving off. Lovely cars and nice people.
That sprint is really pretty - it must be pretty close in age to mine.
Cheers for posting.
