SC backdate with a 964 engine looked interesting…

A 964 engine built by Neil Bainbridge.
The OPC guys obviously were rather taken with the colour green....
There were some nice 'signature' touches on the car though (like bespoke badging and custom enbroidered graphics on the seats).

nice paint on this 993….

I was really smitten with the black 993.
The paint looked fantastic, so smooth, deep and glossy.
The finish was like a mirror, wonderful.

I quizzed Nick Moss if the paint on my car would be as good.
Oh, he observed "you want paint like that?" and took me aside and pointed to the top of one rear wing. I knelt down closer and glanced obliquely and I could see 'shrinkage' where they'd used filler and it had already settled back.
Really good paint - it seems - is really difficult.....

Black over black suits a 993. A very nice car and a dead cert for investment potential (though beware, the value of your investments can.....).
