I have had numerous items back from Derby Plating which were all 'scabby' mazak - the door furniture especally from a Mk1 Cooper S - and they have come back as new - so it can be done...quite expensive mind,

Here's the first trunk pin guide - this is an unused 914 item from 914rubber. Will it fit? not sure and i havent got a 912 to try it on any more but might be worth a go.
I'll try and hunt out the mazak one for the front that i might have tomorrow

I can't decide if the 914 will be ok since the 914 is taper but as Stuart says I think it's worth a try.

The 914 version is certainly different, but it might be worth a try. And have the platers come back yet?
Don't go buying anything from the US just yet - I need to try a few other sources first. I'm sure I have another front latch somewhere in that safe place!
