well the engines been running but atthe moment isn't running quite right, so more work to be done.

can't seem to get the brake pedal to work the brakes, must have a leak somewhere

we also have a small problem of forgetting to run the extra wire to the back for the indicators.. this is going to be a pain to do now


at this stange i am begining to wish we had just given the whole thing to someone who like PR services but i know it'll come good in the end and i can honestly say we know this car inside and out and we have learnt a lot.

engines still running rough. so its being gone through bit by bit.

got fed up waiting for the car to be finished so i have taken the car to PR services to be finished.

have a nasty feeling its going to costme big time

yes lots but, its mainly loads of little things. to name a few. ...

brakes need completly re-doing,

another wire needs to be run to the rear of the car for the indicators, which we forgot

engine is 98% sorted but, Paul at PR services wants to drop it out and go through it. get it running smoothly/sweetly.

Did this not go to plan then Helen? Just wondering why you've now got to take it to PRS? If you've just paid someone else to rebuild it shouldnt they be "shaking it down"

Zentrum were rebuilding the 356 engine for peanuts as Mike( Mr Zentrum) is very keen to learn more about these cars. but he was doing it in his spare time, so it was taking for ever. to add to pressure on his time he is now about to move the business to bigger premises.
i was getting frustrated with the wait and Mike wants to clear out the business ready for the move.
so when i discovered PR services had a slot available i arranged to move the car to them.

means i shall now have to pay for all te labour/work/time spent on the car but,(hopefully) they know what tey are ding so shouldn't come across anything they haven't delt (and solved) with before, so i hope to have one very sorted and usuable car at the end of all the hard work.

just means i have had to cut back on some of my plans/events for 2008 in order to pay for it.
i need the car ready for the new year (feb)as thats when GTPP usually visit to do the "whats in Helens Garage this year " article for their april issue

PR services have got my baby in a compramising position,

But it's still looking very nice Helen.

Maybe you should make it a centrepiece in the house rather than drive it?
