Yup, finished but there is no room for man bags, all your grooming products or seasonal wrist watches.

Pathetic. I need room for my choice of watch, choice of seasonal strap and complimentary shirt. Otherwise.....

You're fired!

Sometimes you get lucky!

Last Saturday a gentleman got in touch with me to discuss a Heuer Carrera that was bought for him new from Wacthes of Switzerland in Bond Street back in 1965

He told me the story of how he had the choice of a Breitling and a Heuer and went for the Heuer as he liked the style.

He said he'd worn it about 10 times over the last 45 years and had decided as he had nobody to leave it to that it was time to sell and enjoy the money.

Would I like to buy it? he asked.

Well, after a few of the poorest pictures you could imagine I thought I'd risk it as the story sounded so good and we agreed a price.

This morning it arrived.

I opened the box (the original one from 1965) with aniciptation and WOW!

It was everything I had hoped for. A beautiful watch in absoloute time warp condition.

I'm now going to enjoy the rest of the day wearing it!

A couple of quick pics....

Beautiful Carrera!

I know they're not in the same league as your Heuers, Rolexes and the like but do you have any thoughts on 60's Zodiac watches...specifically the Sea Wolf?

Just got my Father's 1973 Omega back from service - it took a long time at nearly 4 months and wasn't cheap, but I think the result is great...
