I am also fitting this hidden under the dash. It will connect up to the original demist vents. Hopefully it will arrive this week, along with the hose and fittings:

Looks like great value for such sturdy kit, I used a rule bilge bower to do the same thing its not as nice as this.

I think a German manufacturer called Truma make a similar thing for caravans but in plastic not steel for you lot bent on weight saving!

Any heat source? Or are you relying on the heated screen to keep it clear?

Spoke to T7 last year, the chap is really enthusiastic about all this stuff and was really helpfull.
My heat exchangers and levers have been removed in the past, so am keen to give a bit of heat on a spring morning! When the time comes I would like to play about with the idea of running the oil lines inside the car and through a small oil cooler matrix housed inside a stainless box (small header tank) with one of those inline fans sucking warmer air up through the vents.
Not sure if:
A) there would just be an initial blast of warmish air
B) another cooler might make the oil run too cold
Or
C) whether there would be enough heat created anyway...

Last little bits coming together now...I hope

Couldn't resist some pictures in the afternoon sun, which also gave the opportunity to clean the garage floor from Oil and Brake fluid. Windscreen will be fitted this evening, hopefully blower will show up tomorrow.....then I am in the Lap of Gods (and the TÜV).
