Not my car, but I spent the day putting paint on a 964 project. Olive Green Metallic. It’s very hard to photograph but is a stunning colour.

That is one of my favourite colours on a later car (G-series or 964). Looks wonderful when the sun hits it. Very nice!

Big day for me yesterday my 69 911E came out of my garage to see the sun after 14 months of body and interior restoration, seven of those months were in a bodyshop. She started without any trouble, big sigh of relief.

That looks great Keith. I agree, car sounds great, but the run looks great too. Pretty lively on the twisty bits - are you on road tyres?
It is worth pointing out to those that have not been there, Wiscombe is very challenging. Almost everything you can hit is hard, (unless you go in the river like Chaos). I remember my first time watching there (before my car was ready), and there was a Pug 205 tied by rope in the canopy of a tree on the way up to the hairpin, so it was safe enough for the meeting to continue!!
Great effort, addictive isn't it?!

Thanks! Yes, road tyres: Dunlop Sport Blue Response 195/65x15. Tyre pressures were lower than I realised (duff pressure gauge). Normally i run at 30psi all round, but they'd dropped to 27/28 on the day. It certainly felt slightly 'wayward' at times, but I was amazed how quickly it recovered its poise.

I've been leaving a 3psi difference front to back tyres on my 914 but being a mid engined better balanced car it makes sense the front back should be nearly the same
