Another big thank you to all that got involved in organising the weekend - Spit, Clive, Ian and anybody else who played a part
And thank you all for being such wonderful company - it was an honour spending time with you all. A mixed bunch that all just get on, respect each other and enjoy the moment
Let’s not leave it long

Awesome event, thanks also to Spit and Clive (and others) for pulling us together. Don't think we've ever had this many DDK cars in one place!
The relaxed nature of 'create your own car show' at Caffeine & Machine works so well for this, great setting, informal but with good food and facilities.

I'll post up some car pics once the've finished uploading.

What a great weekend, as Tom said let’s not leave it so long. Easy to say I know, life flys by, so big thanks to Spit and Clive for making it easy for us.

Karl did all the people pics, so I'll do a few cars. Looking back I now realise I missed about 50% of the attendees, cars and people!

Re: Live Blog - The Great Big DDK Meet of 2024
Back home now after fighting my way up the M6. God I hate our motorways. We managed a few hours at Megaphonics today and although I’ve never met any DDKers….I did recognise a few of the cars..
The event itself has a really cool and relaxed vibe and Classsic Le Mans aside the best collection of rare and historied Porsche(s)..ive seen gathered.
The actual numbers of aircooled cars seemed less than last year though..maybe the price hike put a few off ?
One epic fail from the organisers though…. a few of these wouldn’t have gone amiss today.

I agree, anyone selling ice cream would have made a killing today. They were booked by the organisers but were let down at the last minute.hmg66 wrote:

What a weekend!!! Thank you all for making it so memorable! Scruffy now tucked away ready for repairs
Sorry for any I didn’t see today or get chance to talk to, I stand by Megaphonics being an awesome event too.
Hopefully we can make the DDK meet an annual thing and bigger and better to
