Well it's been a year since we were here but back in the Uk now after our contract has been completed and can finally crack on with getting this back on the road.
To speed the project up we have dropped the shell at a bodywork specialist this morning so hopefully start to get some progress 8)

Nice build - congrats
Robind wrote:Apologies for those wanting updates, Xmas/New Year were busy with another project that we are using for the tours around Europe this year but this is now all done so back on with the 912 ready for the UK destinations this year (hint hint Danny...)

Gauges all arrived back from Hans and looking very smart indeed, full report of what's what and testing docs which is great, wasn't too sure how to go with the speedo to keep it at original mileage or start again at 00000, decided as the car has re built from scratch with every single nut/bolt we will start from the beginning but purists out there feel free to shoot me down

Engine spec still being tweaked Neil as we have some Max development parts on so will post up what I can 8)

Some good progress this week with the front end fully mocked up and set, always takes a lot longer than you think but happy with the results, doors fully lined up and proper gaps where they should be.
Front wings fully prepped and shot with the 3M sealer (these small bags really do not go very far :( )
all being well going to shoot some paint this weekend.... 8)

well in-between Mothers day, kids activities ect managed to shoot some top coat to a few of the panels and they have turned out really well, after sanding through its last colour black we also found yellow, blue and green but have decided the colour needs to be its original slate grey
still got to flat and polish but happy with the outcome straight from the gun

Incredible work. I think it was a good call to set the clock back at zero.

been a busy couple of weeks with lots more progress and shed load of hours, where do they go :? , anyway most of the shell is now covered in epoxy primer, 99% of welding completed and all panels have been test fitted ready to start shooting paint next week if we get time
more importantly looking forward to seeing all those 912 at Stanford Hall next weekend 8)

not a huge amount of progress over the last couple of weeks what with a visit to Stanford Hall and then racing for the last couple of weekends so to keep the motivation going decided to build the front end to check gaps again etc
