I'll show the French how to make a great cuppa with my camping stove and Tetley T-Bags....might even make you a cuppa if you are about.

I always full brim the car at Hull, so we can crack on straight off the ferry. We all then should need fuel around the same time, but best to fill up whenever the group stops for fuel.

There are no catering facilites at the the site, so bring whatever you think you'll need for tea / coffee / food etc. Usually we make a trip to the supermarket every day as there is a nice cafe ( & toilet ) there. I'll be honest I'm crap with food, I tend to eat out around the circuit .

I'm probably going to bring a wee camping stove if only to brew my Tom his tea. He needs at least 3 cups in the morning before he can think about doing anything else.

Hi everyone,

If there is anyone who has not booked their Hull-Zeebrugge Ferry yet and can find someone to share with it is nearly £100 per person less to share a room.

When you book online it is impossible not to book accommodation with your booking and I've always been told you had to.

However if one person books their travel and a room and then you call P&O you can add a car/person to that booking and share a room and it works out a LOT cheaper.

Just thought I'd mention it, may be worth noting for the future as you could get a 4 bed outside Club cabin with all the bells and whistles probably for about half the price of a standard room!

This has worked out well for me, but probably less so for Russ!!!

Final Plan, I think.
Three Sons, Craig, Tom, George and I early start from Edinburgh in a Cayenne, pick up 912 along the way.
Tunnel crossing on Thursday 3rd July at 16.20 and then a quick hop down to Le Treport, staying in some Pirate Bar at the harbour called Le Maritim, four of us in the one room, lovely. Feb beers on Thursday evening and then pick up supplies and head to Le Mans for early afternoon. Looking forward to seeing old friends and meeting new faces, see you there. Ate at Tetra Rouge last time and it was great, anything else similar that we should consider?

Tickets arrived yesterday!

Not surprising they're sent/received over a week or two.... they're still handwriting the envelopes!
Think it's something to do with wanting it all to be in period & with NOS envelopes too
