was wondering, would you do the stack tacho for customers and if so what do you reckon it would cost all in and could it be equally done with a 10k tacho

are those light units plastic ones from eb motorsport?

finally I am about to replace my glass windows with plastic, was intending to use 3mm polycarb... just interested in your ref to 5mm...is that a rally specific fitment?

cortina - why dont you post a picture of your cage install on here to discuss ?, did you instruct Custom Cages to install the cage for you, or did you buy the car with it fitted ?, do you have the paperwork from CC, what does it say ?, there should be a document that shows the rollcage design number, as Nick says if that cage has its own certification, you should be OK

yes we would do it for clients, do you already have a 10k tacho, or would you like us to supply one completed ? - regarding price, now we have done the first unit we know what to do, as it took a lot of planning and changes to get it right in the end - PM me your email address and I can make you an offer

No, but I have seen the ones Mark sells and they are nice quality, I believe they use the OE seal, but not tried to fit them - will post a picture of ours fitted

Yes, its an FIA requirement

My cage not fitted yet - Tuthill supplied T45 weld in, as they would have fitted to all their cars. ... just looking ahead.

here is a close up of the rear lamp unit now installed, plus an overallview of the rear bumper now installed using the lightweight anodized aluminium bumper mountings. I was keen to create a minimalistic look to the bumpers and delete all the rubber trims and overriders.
The original mounting holes were alu welded and then the bumper refinished for the 'clean look' - would have been so much easier in fibreglass !

Looking great, can't wait to see it finished

Interesting comparison detailing the weight difference between our lightweight rear lamp units and OE

Both lamps are shown as complete units with lens and seals fitted with bulbs and wiring harness to loom connector plug

A nice 2.5kg saving for the pair

Looking to keep the weight of the aluminium bumpers as light as possible, so decided to delete all the rubber trims front and rear, the rear has already been shown, but here is the front....

We fabricated an aluminium panel that sits inside the recess, where the rubber strip normally sits, and relocated the indicator further back towards the bellows

I guess it looks a bit different now

Progression on the plumbing, oil lines in (#16 to front oil cooler), running inside the car, rather than along the sills where they could be exposed to damage.
Fuel and brake lines now completed, 10mm for the fuel and 4.75 for the brakes



Fire extinguisher mounted, In hindsight, extinguisher brackets could have been reduced in size, as we originally planned (mandatory for FIA) to use a 4litre bottle, but Lifeline make a very compact bottle that is FIA approved and only 2.25KG
