Barry and I caught the owner of the metallic light green targa. He's 'Eyeofthetarga' on here. Apparently is a later 70's colour, Atlantic Green or something.

Viv managed to find a quiet spot for the 'breakaway faction' (or mavericks as they're known).
Not too close to anyone else.

Yes it was a good do that .. Thanks for the last min invite. It made our day so glad for Esso and it's Food mall for last min picnic shopping..

I'm pretty sure that is Michael Lacey's car - Michael can usually be found assisting at the PCGB annual weekend and he's a really nice guy.

It appears one DDK'er is so concerned about the possibility of '76 ball' theft, he carefully removes it and locks it securely in the vehicle.

Another RHD 2.4S for your list Nigel.
'Delighted to discover this car at Wellington today.
The owner was a very friendly chap. He'd had the car for over twenty years. Turned out he lives not 10 miles from me.
He'd campaigned it all over Europe and it's seen plenty of track action.
It was very nice. Restored back to the original silver and with houndstooth check seats. Lovely.

Yep some tyke stole the last one at Goodwood ( main event ) and valve caps ..it seams that even in classic car shows there is an idot to ruin it.. hopefully there are not too many of them about but better safe than sorry..
It was a good day and I hope to do a few more day events like this before the year end..
