..Oh, and waved to one new Turbo (in another world) ...2 Boxters (blankness x 2)... a Cayman (embarrassed acknowledgement in case I was a charming gentleman intent on following him home...... And a very nice young lady in a slammed purple beetle with black minilight types who waved at me first. Image

Ha !

Rebuilt and fitted the driveshafts yesterday night and took the car out this evening for a local pub classic meet which was absolutely packed with an eclectic mix of cars.

CALLING SCOUT 40 please:

Scout;
I now have the Fuel cut out switch.
To which terminal did you put the 12v feed to and which did you take the feed from?

Mine (a Land Rover part) has 'C NO' and 'NC' with a terminal in the middle unmarked.

How you get this.
Thanks, Graham.

Hi Jonathan, It's at 'The Wharf' in Cheswardine near Market Drayton, impossible to find reference to it on line, annual event evidently,

It's clear they don't need to advertise it though as it was completely packed and 20 deep at the bar! I only knew about it as a random woman in a petrol station handed me a leaflet a few weeks back.

Actually did two things to my 911.

1
Took my hillclimb seat to Aldridge Trimming to be re-covered in a black 'cover' to remove the boy racer Sparco Evo blue, 3 weeks to be done.
Place was solid/rammed with all manner of stuff.
No recession there then!

2
Cleaned and tinkered with the car ready for the day at Cholmondeley Speed weekend.
Sat is a Father's Day substitute.
Might go to Ludlow in it on sunday if not too hot.

Put 1/2 pint of oil in 2,000 miles, not bad for a 130k 3.2 engine.

The good old days... :)
