Took Honey out of the garage for the first time in over six weeks, started first time! Went and filled up with cheap petrol and then removed my race seat and put back my original seat which I had fixed and re-stuffed. Even polished the chrome (50 years of oxidation now removed!).

Brendan, thought the race seat would have been comfy / good for road too ?

James, I prefer the original seat, the Cobra seat (which is really light) sits a bit high for me. I really should look at getting the mounting frame modified to lower it.

Thoughtful.

Was that after you washed her car?

Indicator light? Check! Main beam light? Check! LED turn signal bulbs? Check! LED-specific adjustable flasher unit? Check!

Funny how the little things give you the most pleasure (eh, Bootsy?).

Is this a reference to the 'toy' Bootsy was washing and polishing earlier?

Fixed a mildly irritating electrical problem.

We now have full beams again (funky Cibie Biode version):

And headlight relays:

Went for a drive around Leeds City Centre on Monday taking advantage of the lack of people for an insta shoot with my daughter. Its the only way my 12 year old will come out with me :) Photos are a bit staged, but we had fun.

Took the 912 into work today as the sun was out! Local multi-storey car park provided a good photo opportunity 8)

Looks great

With the prospect of some motorsport this year becoming more likely, I got my kettle out too. Gave it a good clean to wash the DIY dust off it, ran it up to temp, performed some slow speed manoeuvres without the steering wheel on to turn it around and put it away again!
