For starters, do you think it originally had a black or brown interior. My guess, brown.

I cant understand the thinking behind leaving a half brown interior and then restoring the rest in black. Likely originally brown and they couldn’t find the rest of the rarer brown interior or the other brown items were too far gone to use. Ended up with a half way house. Is that a concours restoration? It’s looks such a lovely 911 too in a rare exterior colour.

If claiming Concours for a 71, ... what about missing the black paint on the interior door surrounding the door cards, the later front spoiler ? Fully painted under bonnet ?

All those are of no issue on a lovely restoration but can’t be classed as concours standard ( I actually prefer full body color under bonnet / engine bay anyway rather than original spec )

Leaky engine, needs a rebuild probably, but for someone looking for a cheap way into a driveable 993....I was sorely tempted but I have a "no more engine rebuilds" rule.

I had a 993 daily that I bought at 60k miles and sold at 180k miles. Had nothing other than standard service items. Admittedly the suspension was pretty tired as when I swapped it for my 993TT there was a vast difference is tightness of handling!!

I sold it for £14k if I remember correctly and I guess it is still going somewhere!

They do seem to be pretty indestructible

I’m not, for a moment, suggesting this is the case here, but if you owned a 2.7 RS or two it would certainly be worth spending £6k to publicly ‘prove’ a £500k+ value....
