Nope, Oregon doesn’t use salt on the roads...they have piloted using a liquid spray (magnesium Chloride) on some of the snow passes, but other than that, nothing. Also, there is no MOT...which is great on face value, but you do see some questionable things driving around.

Fitted the hardtop on the Boxster

Gives it a very different look and very snug - going to take it for a spin

Took the 964 for a boat across the dales to Ingleton to meet up with JohnM for a coffee and a buttie 8)

Roads were wet and slippy ... Clouds were a bit low up on the buttertubs ;)

My son continued his own Porsche project today with more metal work on his engine table:

I’m sure welding that near magnesium is just fine :)

Yesterday we went to Brooklands meet. What a great event and locaton. I wish i could have made the 914 birthday meet there. We had a really nice day there but i broke my mirror and the ruddy wipers stopped working on the way home.

Looking forward to our next trip out

Moved the car into the middle ready for screens being fitted

Excellent job by National Windscreens

Amazing what a difference the windscreens make - looks like a proper car again.

The eagle-eyed amongst you will have notice that having gained windscreens I lost my wheels.

They have been removed to potentially swap for a set of refurbed ones from Biagio - going to see him Saturday morning....
