Fitted Bilsteins all round, lowered it, turbo tie-rods followed by full alignment. Feels like a different car... Two original Boge dampers were leaking, the other two completely shot.

Took the cover off to run the engine and put some damp absorbing crystals insine the cabin. Found some bloody paint damage on it. Someone has got too close and scuffed it

Re: What did you do in/on/for your Porsche today?
356 is ready to come back so I swapped the 912 to the other garage. It started well. I charged the battery up overnight. I took it for a 15 mins drive because it hadn't moved since the Flat 4 drive. Then would not restart after I stopped to open the garage. I pushed it half way in and then had to call for help.
Probably a loose wire or the new relay I put in? Maybe I need more than 30a?
Here hoping for some trouble free drives soon!

Re: What did you do in/on/for your Porsche today?
I was very disappointed that after just over a year, the leading edges of my 718’s rear wings were badly chipped. Porsche agreed to respray the sills and rear panel around the air intake, but not to apply the necessary plastic protective sheet, so I bit the bullet and had it done at vast expense. I don’t see me changing the car any time soon, so it needed doing.

My 987 was thirteen years old when I sold it and remarkably scratch free thanks to a couple of patches of protective sheet.

Sun was out on Saturday so took the '12 out to run some errands. Also tried to create one of those cool Downtown LA/California style shots
