This picture suggests there is some sun about. I beg to differ. Seems to have been raining for weeks and a soggy passenger footwell in the Boxster backs this up! Dried out and all drain holes cleaned out. I’m sure they’ll be a downpour soon to test if I’ve fixed it!

It's been glorious all day down this way.
But the council wouldn't let us have two black bins in a million years.
Swings and roundabouts.

Did you do the 2 drain holes by the battery?
987 has 2 , not sure about the 986.

Yes, the two next to the battery and the two in the rear near the hood
One of the battery ones seemed to be the culprit as it was blocked and evidence of a pool
Of water

Yes, that is current thinking, and why I asked.
Everyone does the 2 in the hood recess but not the far more awkward battery box area.
Your car should stay dry now.
Just re-introduced my big box of cat litter to soak up the dampness in the cabin, works a treat, really cheap too.

Yes I used to use that method when my 993 sat outside and had a leak. Works wonders

Managed to get an 80 mile drive in the car yesterday - mostly in the rain and half in the dark. Had the afternoon off of work for no particular reason and was nice to get a few miles in the car.
